NEWS During 2010
Friday 29th Oct 2010 - Cai finds something to do while us others eat.
It has been quite a few days since my last update, the school phoned one morning to ask where Cai was -when he had left 45 minutes earlier and should have been there ages ago, just a misunderstanding but after attending a funeral for a special little boy earlier that week it was worrying nevertheless.
Oma also had to go to hospital to remove a cyst in her skull - all has gone well though and we hope to have her back home on Monday. Kerstin is busy organising the Swss Charge conference the weekend after next, I have been given the job of photographer so hopefully I will get some nice shots.
Oktoberfest came and went, it was I thought better last year as there were too many security gaurds wandering up and down but others in our group thought it was better than last year, so we had better go next year again to see who was right. Birthday Wishes to John (Cai's godfather) who was 50 during his visit to us.Monday 18th October 2010. Back from our UK tour and with myself, Kerstin and four boys spreading happiness where ever we leave.
It is always good for me to visit my family and friends in the UK but as usual this time I tried to fit too much in. Still I think the family enjoyed some of the time if not all. I did manage to see the laverda engine I took to be repaired 10 years ago but failed to collect it.
We stopped with Kim and Sandra near London first then on to welshpool to stay with stuart and suzanne before visiting Kerry and Pete in Cardiff where we celebrated Cai's birthday.
It is always nice to get home but this time we came back to bad news. One of the boys who had attended Kertin's play group from time to time passed away last week, our thoughts are with his family at this time.Sunday 17th Sept 2010 - Cai sets off in the taxi, Kerstin asked me to get a picture to help with his sign language.
LIfe seems to be rushing by, Kerstin is organising a swiss charge meeting in november and we have had two returned applications already, we have also been sending out flyers to various people. The worst response kerstin got was from zurich kinderspitex, who said we only deal with extremely sick kids, exactly the people that we are aiming to educate about charge.
We wonder if Jason is maturing as this week he went for a shower without being asked, but it was only a temporary upset and he was back to normal by sunday.Sunday 12th Sept 2010 - The neighbours house is ready to have an extra floor added along wit roof, should be done by next week.
Its been a bit busy, lately so it was nice to have a trip into the mountains and over the klausen pass. The weather was nice, the road fun and the newly assembled and fitted overdrive worked like a dream. Cai is doing fine as is Luc, this week however it was Jason in hospital for an operation which coupled with Oma not feeling well meant a busier week than normal. All are now recovered and things are back to normal
